Bonjour, my name is Rita and I'm a visual artist based in Paris.
While studying arts at Paris-Sorbonne University, my passion for music grew, and I decided to pursue it fully. However, despite my enthusiasm, I felt unfulfilled and realized I needed to explore new horizons and aspirations. As I reflected on my past ambitions, forgotten feelings of creativity began to emerge, reminding me that my true passion lay in art.
Today, I am excited to pursue my passion for art full-time as both a visual artist and illustrator.
Through my work, I strive to illustrate the profound impact that others can have on our internal landscape. Whether through a single moment or a prolonged influence, the people we encounter can shake our world to its core, leaving us vulnerable to their control or even destroying our sense of self. It is this power of human interaction that I seek to explore in my work, shedding light on the complex and often unpredictable ways in which our inner lives are shaped by those around us.
